The official In Case Of Fire street team has been launched here on Align The Planets.

We are looking for people who will put their time and effort into promoting In Case Of Fire and its community in any way they can, especially when they're on tour.

To put it as simply as possible, Wikipedia defines a street team as the following;

Street teams for bands and artists are still often composed of teenagers who are rewarded with free band merchandise or show access in exchange for a variety of actions:

  • placing stickers and posters in their communities
  • bringing friends to the shows
  • convincing friends to buy band merchandise
  • phoning your local radio station to request their songs be played
  • bringing vinyl and CDs to local DJs in the clubs where they work
  • putting up posters
  • posting to band forums and bulletin boards online
  • maintaining zines or websites dedicated to the band


This should give you a rough idea of what we're looking for, although none of that is set in stone at all. You don't have to be a teenager for example, and you won't have to maintain any websites.


Applying to be in the Street Team


Applying is easy.

All you need to do is tell us a few words about yourself.

Saying things like you've been to shows before, you've brought a few friends to the forum, you've recommended the band to friends etc are just a few examples of things you can mention.

To do this, click here and make sure the option Street Team is selected.

Please do not apply if you are not a registered member (on the forum) with under 15 posts.

If you apply without meeting these very small requirements then we will not accept your application and we will tell you that you do not meet the requirements. The requirements are not difficult, contributing to the forum and making posts should come natural to street team members.

Members of the street team should;
  • Be an active member on the forum (please only apply when you have over 15 posts)
  • Be willing to hand out things at gigs (flyers, stickers etc provided by us)
  • Recommend the band to their friends and try to get more people involved
  • Act responsible, at events and online - set an example

Members of the street team will have access to the group forum which only members of the street team (and forum staff) can see. It will contain helpful information about the street team and other street team related discussions.

Members of the street team will be rewarded for their hard work with things such as gig tickets, merchandise and other exciting gifts.
